I am a [INSERT GRADE] grader in [INSERT TEACHER]'s class. On October 5th, our school will be having it's primary fundraiser, the Jog-a-thon, where I will be challenged to run as many laps as I can. This event helps to promote physical fitness while also creating a fun way to raise money for Central. Last year I ran [INSERT LAPS] laps. This year I hope to run [INSERT LAPS] laps. Unlike many fundraisers, all of the funds raised from the Jog-a-thon will go directly to Central. Money raised from this event will help fund our International Baccalaureate Program, support educational enrichment programs for students, fund special school-related requests from teachers and staff, and support community building activities at our school. Like many schools, Central has been hit hard by recent budget cuts. Our school budget has been cut by 25% this year, which means your donation is more important than ever! If you would like to mail a check, I will need to turn in my donations by Monday, October 17th. If you would like to donate online, the deadline is Wednesday, October 12th.
