About the Jog-a-thon
Dear Central Parents, Staff, Families and Friends -
The Jog-a-thon is Central Elementary's primary fundraiser. The event promotes healthy exercise while also raising money for our school. Students seek per-lap or flat donations, and on Wednesday, October 5th, they will run laps around the field to see how many they can complete. There will be special contests for total participation, number of laps and money raised.
Our goal is to raise more than $15,000!
Unlike many fundraisers, proceeds from the Jog-a-thon will go directly to Central. Money raised from the Jog-a-thon will help fund our International Baccalaureate Program, support educational enrichment programs for students, fund special school-related requests from teachers and staff, and support community building activities at our school.
Like many schools, Central has been hit hard by budget cuts. Our school's budget was cut by 25% this year, which means your donation is more important than ever!
We are now accepting donations on-line via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make this donation, you can also pay with any major credit or debit card. Online donations must be submitted by Wednesday, October 12th.
